When to buy travel insurance
The best time to buy travel insurance is as soon as you have booked your flight or package holiday deal. Good travel insurance will cover your for cancellation, curtailment and end supplier failure. These issues may occur before you even pack your suitcase, therefore it is best to purchase as soon as possible. You can enter your travel dates within the travel insurance quote form.
What our policies cover
Computerquote Insurance offers you two levels of travel insurance - Premier and Premier Plus. Our cover is ideal for individual travel, couples travel and families for a single trip, or for a number of trips throughout the year.
Premier and Premier Plus
You will find a comparison of cover on page 1 of the travel insurance policy wording. The Premier Plus includes journey disruption including airspace closure and higher cover levels for all other elements of the insurance.

Computerquote travel insurance comes with Activity Pack 1. This includes a range of various activities you may undertake while on your trip. To view all activities covered in the Activity Packs, go to pages 14 & 15 of the policy wording.
It is important that you read the policy wording regarding the activities, and any special requirements or exclusions. For example, as standard, you will be covered for safari trips, however, it must be organised by a bonafide tour operator. Any activities that have an astrisk next to it (*) will exclude personal liability under section 8.
Adding on activity packs
While Activity Pack 1 covers a vast array of activities, there may be certain activities that you want to participate in that requires an extra premium. These are activities that are considered more extreme, such as bungee jumping, gorilla trekking, high diving, parasailing over land. Important: Note that these activity packs must be applied before your holiday has started. View pages 14 & 15 of the policy wording for full details.
Computerquote Annual Multi-trip travel insurance automatically includes winter sports. You will need to add winter sports on to your policy if you purchase single trip cover. Winter sport activities, including skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, tobogganing / sledging, ice skating, glacier skiing / walking, snow blading, off piste (within limits), husky dog sledding, snow mobiling, snow tubing and more. Age limits on our policies
Single trip travel insurance - you must be aged 79 years or under. If you are aged over 65, the maximum trip duration is 31 days. Annual multi-trip travel insurance is available for people aged 74 or under. Your age applies at the start date of your policy. If you require travel insurance over these age limits, please call us as we have specialist travel insurance with no age limits.
Existing medical conditions
Computerquote travel insurance offers cover for existing medical conditions, subject to online medical screening. Once you have put your personal details in, travel information and confirmed any additional options, you will be presented with a Medical screening page.
