BMW and Fiat win big at BusinessCar Awards

The winners of the 2012 BusinessCar Awards have been revealed, with car insurance policyholders given plenty of options when they are searching for a new vehicle.
One of the standout car manufacturers at the ceremony was the BMW Group, which scooped an array of honours across the board.
As well as being recognised with the prestigious Manufacturer of the Year award, the BMW 1 Series was also honoured with being named Business Car of the Year.
Those hoping to become more energy-efficient with their driving technique may also want to note that the Green Car of the Year award was presented to the BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Saloon.
MINI, a subsidiary of the BMW Group, was also celebrating after BusinessCar named its MINI Hatch the Supermini of the Year.
However, it was not just the BMW Group which was honoured at the awards, with the Fiat 500 being honoured with the City Car accolade for the fourth consecutive year.
Paul Barker, editor of BusinessCar, highlighted: "Fiat's 500 has again proved to be a business car market favourite, and Fiat's advancement with its TwinAir technology has enhanced the excellent city car's appeal to the sector."
