Fernando Alonso: F10 is best car I've ever had

Fernando Alonso has declared his new Ferrari to be the best car he has ever had after testing at Jerez.

The Spanish driver put the new F10 through its paces over two days at the circuit and, although he was not the fastest on either days, he still recorded some impressive times.

"There are no reasons to be pessimistic," he told the Spanish media. "As of today, this is the best car I've ever had."

"We have done a good job in terms of reliability and long runs," he added.

Alonso said that unlike Red Bull, McLaren and Renault, Ferrari are keeping their cards close to their chests.

He suggested that other teams should be looking out for the Italian speedsters "because everything is going very well".

Current world champion Jenson Button recently said that he was looking forward to working with Lewis Hamilton this season and hopefully standing on the podium with him.
