Car insurance: New Citroen C4 receives 5-star safety rating
25 Aug 2010
Motor insurance customers concerned about the road safety of their current vehicle may wish to consider the new Citroen C4, awarded the maximum five-star rating by independent assessors Euro NCAP.
The group's findings, including a score of 97 per cent in the 'Safety Assist' category, confirm that the new C4 will meet the needs of even the most safety-conscious motor insurance policyholders when it hits showrooms next year.
According to the car manufacturer, with a range of driving aids fitted as standard, the new Citroen C4 offers car insurance customers "exceptional" on-road control.
"Launched in the UK early in 2011, the new Citroen C4 builds on the five-star Euro NCAP credentials of its predecessor, which at launch, was also one of the safest vehicles in its class," Citroen explained.
Earlier this week, motor insurance customers planning to make long journeys over the August Bank Holiday were reminded by TyreSafe to ensure that their tyre pressures meet safety standards before setting off.
