A man who was injured when a car crashed into his house is helping the driver with their car insurance claim.
The Dorset resident, who does not want to be named, was injured when a vehicle crashed into his house last week.
He told the Dorset Echo that the noise of the car crashing "was louder than a gun", adding that the whole hosue shook.
"My head went back very quickly and I have health problems anyway but the shock of my head going back gave me whiplash," he added.
However, the man does not have any ill feelings towards the driver, saying that he is helping the couple in question deal with their car insurance company as their English is not very good.
"I am just trying to be a good neighbour," he told the newspaper.
The incident follows questions being raised in the local area on the safety of a pedestrian crossing in Christchurch, following an accident last weekend, the newspaper reported.
